Skiing, snowboarding, ski touring
In a few minutes you are by car or the free ski bus (bus stop right in front of the house) at the Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area, or in Zauchensee, Flachau, Reiteralm, Obertauern, etc. There you can expect top-maintained slopes, the most modern lifts and the famous "Pongauer hospitality" in the numerous rustic alpine huts and mountain restaurants.
You can get the finishing touches at one of the local ski and snowboard schools.From the early afternoon, there will be celebrations at Apres Ski, in various umbrella bars, alpine huts and in the vicinity of the valley stations.
Another highlight in our region are the many ski touring opportunities - from easy and short tours to demanding variants, there is something for all enthusiastic tourers. We ourselves enjoy a lot to go with touring skis and would be happy to help you choose a route or provide you with suitable
information.
Sledding
Choose one of the numerous options, for example the route from "Königslehen". The starting point is the "Sportalm" mountain restaurant, at the top station of the gondola.
Refreshed by great food and drinks at the Sportalm you start the long (6km) illuminated decent back down to Radstadt. Great fun for big and small!
Cross country skiing
The famous Tauernloipe (access very near to our house) takes you on a well-groomed trail through enchanting winter landscapes. There are many options for every skill level.
"Must Do" at good weather: Papageno trail on the Rossbrand - breathtaking 360° mountain panorama! (advanced level, there are some up and down sections...)
Brine Therme Amadé
In a few minutes you can reach the Sole Therme Amadè in the neighboring town. Various massages, saunas or the wave pool offer wonderful opportunities to relax. The thermal bath is not only a bad weather alternative, but an experience in itself.

Winter fairy tale and flirt romance
Enjoy the most precious days of the year, make new contacts at après ski, or simply let the winter landscape work its magic on a romantic ride in a horse-drawn sleigh in the picturesque surroundings of Radstadt.
Restaurants and shopping
You can walk to traditional inns (Gasthaus) ) or trendy restaurants in just a few minutes.
You can do your daily shopping in about 500m away.
Numerous sports shops in town and in the surrounding area offer professional service and will be happy to advise you on your sports activities.
The world-famous city of Salzburg (Mozart, "Sound of Music") with Getreidegasse and many other shopping opportunities, up to the "Designer Outlet" can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.
